We will soon be able to get a feature in Google app in mobile which will help to summarise a whole article in some key points. Users now, by clicking a button in Google, can create an Ai-generated summarised key points of a particular article. The Search Generative Experience which is Ai-Driven by Google is now being enhanced as mentioned in a recent post made by Google.
What is happening?
The new feature of this SGE by Google will by able to condense an article you are interested in on the internet. The SGE already has a very useful feature of streamlining search results which saves your time. However, this latest feature will further help you after you click a the link of any particular website to further read the article.
When is this happening?
This new feature is being tested within Google’s opt-in search labs programs. Thus, if you have opted into SGE you will as well soon get to see this feature. This feature is known as SGE, while browsing is yet to cover the bigger scale consumers. The initial phase of this app is to be available to Google app users for Android and iOS. The further expansion is to be made by making this feature available to the Chrome browser consumers on desktop computers as soon as possible.
What is the aim of this new feature?
The publicly accessible articles can be used by this feature to extract exact key points. Mobile app users will be able to tap on an icon at the screen’s bottom to activate this feature which will create an Ai-generated “key points”. The websites behind paywalls will not be accessible by this feature. According to Google, the feedback created by the testing is very positive and has created a good response.
