For the very first time, Samsung launched an OLED TV in India with its two main models – S95C and S90C. Earlier, there were QLED TVs in the country. The Samsung OLED TV models have been priced more than Rs 1,69,990 and are available in three screen sizes for both of its models. With its recent launch of OLED, Samsung India has made an expansion in the smart TV market.

As per the announcement made by Samsung during the product’s launch, all models in the new OLED TV range are manufactured in India and features Neural Quantum Processor 4K. The range includes two main models of smart TVs –  S95C and S90C with their prices starting from Rs 1,69,990. However, it has more OLED models in queue.

During the launch, it has been revealed by the Samsung India that its new OLED TV range is the world’s first one to receive validation from PANTONE for accurate representation of 2030 Pantone colours and 110 skin tone shades. Apart from this, the TV comes equipped with an intelligent Eye Comfort Mode that automatically adjusts the brightness level based on the surrounding light conditions.

As far as new upcoming models of OLED smart TVs are concerned, it has been suggested the units would be assembled out of one of Samsung’s TV manufacturing facilities locally only. This also marks for the first time that Samsung has launched an OLED TV in India, with the company so far offering QLED TVs as its most premium range of TVs in the country.

Earlier for a very long time, only LG and Sony were having their monopoly in OLED TV market, which was broken by Xiaomi, when it launched its own range of OLED TVs in India. Now, Samsung has also entered in the race with two ranges S90C and S95C.

Both the ranges will be offered in 55 inch, 65 inch and 77 inch variants of their screen sizes. Samsung is yet to reveal the exact prices of each screen size of the two OLED TV ranges. However, Samsung has confirmed that prices of the new OLED TVs will start from Rs 1,69,990 INR.
