KTM 390 Adventure X: A Superhit Adventure Bike

KTM 390 Adventure X is the new sensational adventure bike. If you are a bike rider and loves speed with safety, you are for sure going to fall in love with this one. The X model is the advanced version of its predecessor, Standard.

KTM 390 Adventure X is available in only one variant. Manufactured by KTM India, the bike is powered by 373.27 cc BS6 engine, which develops a power of 42.9 bhp and a torque of 37 Nm. The bike has both front and rear disc brakes and has a weight of 177 kg. KTM 390 Adventure X comes up with an advanced anti locking braking system and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres. The bike is available at a starting price of Rs. 281181 in India. It comes in two colour variations, Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black.

When we talk of the design of KTM 390 Adventure X, it has been beautifully designed. It has a split style LED headlight, a windscreen with air deflectors, a muscular fuel tank, split style seats, a side slung exhaust, and front alloy wheels of 19 inches and rear alloy wheels of 17 inches.

When talking of the hardware of the bike, the bike uses a trellis frame with a bolted sub frame. The suspension tasks are handled by 43mm upside down WP Apex front forks and a 10 step adjustable WP rear mono shock. The braking duties are performed by a 320mm single disc at the front and a 230mm single rotor at the back.

KTM 390 Adventure X includes a 373.27 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled four valve engine with a dual overhead camshaft. Its motor is linked to a six speed gearbox, thus, tuned to deliver a maximum output of 42.9 bhp at 9000 rpm and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm.

As far as the feature of KTM 390 Adventure X is concerned, it includes a traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, ride by wire throttle, and a quick shifter. Meanwhile, the X variant packs fewer electronics and it only gets a dual channel ABS on off road mode. Besides, the bike uses an LCD screen as well.
