Finally, Meta has paid a heed to the most requested feature on Whats App of editing sent messages. You can edit your messages on Android and iOS devices.
Meta has recently added a new feature to its instant messaging platform, WhatsApp. According to the official announcement nade by Meta, now one can finally and easily edit sent messages on WhatsApp, provided it is done within fifteen minutes of sending the main message. This was one of the most requested feature on WhatsApp, because deleting message was an only alternative, if you found something wrong with your sent message.
The WhatsApp edit feature can be used both in individual chats and group chats as well. Besides, when you edit a message, it indicates that the message has been edited. For editing a message, press long on the recent text that you have sent to a specific contact or group. Select the three dots in the top right corner, then choose “Edit”. Now, you can edit the message and resend it. Similarly, a single message can be edited for multiple times.
To use the ‘edit’ feature, you should use the latest version of WhatsApp. If you don’t have the latest version, just download or update it From Google or Apple play store. If you are using WhatsApp web on a PC or Mac, you will only be able to edit the message on your primary device.
