HONDA Activa Electric Scooter: Soon To Be Launched In India – A Detail Story

The Japanese two wheeler company, Honda, is soon going to launch its first electric scooter in India. Honda Activa electric will be the company’s first electric scooter gift to the Indian market. For this purpose, Honda has patented a swingarm mounted motor for its Electric Vehicle, similar to the Hero Vida V1.

After the huge success of Honda Activa scooter, Honda has its own new plans for electric scooter market. Honda is going to launch its first electric scooter in March 2024 and it is aiming at establishment of its swappable battery technology in India. Most probably, the e-scooter is likely to be a mid-range vehicle with a fixed battery pack. For this, Honda has a collaboration with HPCL – Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to establish a network of battery swapping stations across the country at the HPCL’s petrol pumps.

As per the information given on some websites, the Activa Electric price in India could be around Rs 1.10 lakh.
