Meta has provided a new facility to the Facebook and Instagram users. ‘Meta Verified badge’ is now available in India. As a Facebook or Instagram user, you can now purchase ‘Meta Verified’ badge, that will give your profile the blue tick. You can avail this service as a monthly subscription by paying some amount. This will also help you in availing some new more features as well.

‘Meta Verified’ facility feature has been launched recently for the Indian users, who use Facebook and Instagram. It gives the user ‘the blue badge’ by following certain steps, such as by taking monthly subscription etc. Besides this, Meta also gives the user a proactive account monitoring in order to keep an eye on account impersonators. There will be access to help and support as well, which is currently available in English language, although it would be available in Hindi language soon.
The ways to buy Instagram and Facebook verification in India
- ‘Meta Verified’ is now available at the monthly subscription payment of Rs 699 on iOS and Android. Meta will also add a web purchase option in the coming months, which would cost around Rs 599 per month.
- The subscription has already started for the Indian users of Facebook and Instagram, and will be available to all who meet the eligibility criteria in the coming weeks.
- The eligibility criteria requires you to be of minimum 18 years of age. Besides, a prior posting history is also required.
- You will need to submit a government ID to prove your identity and one that matches the name and photo of your Instagram or Facebook account.
- Some of you might be asked to submit a selfie video as a part of the verification process.
- Once your account is verified, you will see the ‘blue badge’ next to your profile.
- This proves that your account is legitimate and it belongs to you, as the user.
