The Chinese mobile company, Oppo, has launched its new model Reno 9A in Japan. The phone comes with colour OS 13, based on Android 13. The phone also has a 128 GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. The phone has a full HD plus screen with 90 HZ refresh rate and a hole punch display design. It also has a triple rear camera unit, which is led by a 48 megapixel primary sensor camera. The smart phone has a battery backup of 4500 mAh power and it supports 18 W fast charging. This phone comes in a mid range and is priced around JPY 41, 980 (INR 25, 000/-).
As far as the product specifications of Oppo Reno 9A is concerned, the phone has a dual SIM. This dual SIM, Nano SIM as well as e SIM, runs on Colour OS 13, based on Android 13.The smart phone features a display of 6.4 inches full HD plus, which is 1080 x 2400 pixels, AMOLED display with up to 90 Hz refresh rate and up to 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It also offers 100 percent coverage of DCI P3 colour gamut with 409 ppi pixel density. The phone’s display has a hole punch cut out at the top left corner. This new phone is powered by an Octa core snapdragon 695 5G SoC, coupled with Adreno A 61 GPU and 8 GB of LPDDR 4 RAM. However, this onboard RAM can be expanded up to 16 GB.
Oppo Reno 9A has a storage variant of 128 GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via micro SD card, with a limit of up to 1 TB. The smart phone has connectivity options of 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi – Fi, NFC, OTG, Beidou, a 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZ, and a USB Type ‘C’ port. Apart from this, the phone has sensors in it also, such as an accelerometer, a geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, and gyroscope. Besides, as safety feature, the phone also supports the face unlock feature and has an in display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
When we talk of the camera of Oppo Reno 9A, the phone has a triple rear camera setup with a 48 megapixel primary sensor camera with an f/ 1.7 lens, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle sensor with a 120 degree field of view and an f/ 2.2 lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor camera with f/ 2.4 lens. The front side of the smart phone hosts a 16 megapixel camera with an f/ 2.4 lens for taking selfies and video chats.
Apart from these specifications, when we talk of the dimension of the phone, it measures 160 X 74 X 7.8 mm and weighs around 183 grams. Oppo’s Reno 9A has a battery backup of 4, 500 mAh power, that supports 18W fast charging. The battery of this phone is believed to deliver up to 39 hours of audio playback time and up to 20 hours of video playback time on a single charge. The phone has been rated IPX8 for water resistance.
When we talk of the price of Oppo Reno 9A, storage variant model of 8 GB RAM plus 128 GB is available at a price of JPY 41, 980 (approximately Rs. 25, 000/-). The phone is available in the colour variations of Moon White and Night Black shades. A user can pre order the set through different e commerce websites such as Rakuten, Ymobile and others.
