The Samsung Galaxy A14 is an Android Smartphone designed and manufactured by The Samsung Electronics. Its 5G model was announced on 4th January, 2023, while 4G LTE model on 28th February, 2023. Its 4G Model was launched in Malaysia earlier this year and it is soon to be launched in India.
Although the company has not made any official announcement about its launch date and price in India, a recent report from some insider sources has revealed not only the launch date in India, but also the phone’s price and storage options. The sources reveal that Samsung Galaxy A14 4G could be launched in the next week in India.
However, since the set has already been launched in Malaysia, the phone’s specifications are already known to all globally. Samsung Galaxy A14 4G comes with a 6.6-inch (1,080×2,408 pixel) PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone could come in two storage configurations:- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. For software support, this smart phone runs One UI 5.0 out of the box based on Android 13.
For optics, Samsung Galaxy A14 4G offers a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel main sensor. Along with the main camera, there would also be a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. On its front side, there would be a 13 megapixel Selfie camera housed in a waterdrop style notch at the top centre position of the display.
The battery capacity of the phone includes a non removable 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. The Galaxy A14 4G has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, support for AI Face unlock, a 3.5 mm headphone jack etc. The weight of the set is 201 grams and it measures 167.7*78.0*9.1 mm. In Malaysia, the product was launched in four colours – Dark Red, Green, Black and Silver.

As far as the price of the model is concerned, the insider sources reveal it to be a budget friendly Galaxy set. The report suggests that the base model of the phone would be priced at Rs. 13,999, whereas the 128GB storage variant could cost Rs. 14,999.
