The new iPhone 15 is likely to be assembled in India.
Where is the new iPhone manufacturing going to take place in India?
It is informed in a Bloomberg report that the production of this new model is likely to begin very soon in Tamil Nadu, India. In Sriperumbudur, in Foxconn Technology Group the manufacturing is going to take place soon. The parts are being loaded from different places. The plant is going to deliver after completion of the arrival of the parts in India from factories in places like China.
We currently have information that Apple is recently trying to increase the production of the iPhone in the Indian market. The other companies, like groups which are currently being acquired by Tata Group, will soon start to participate in this market. The groups will also start producing iPhone 15.
Will the production be limited to only iPhone 15?
The producing groups will only be able to produce the amount of new iPhone based on the supply of the imported parts. The new Apple product iPhone 15 is expected to be launched on 12 September. However, this date has not yet been confirmed by the company yet. Along with phones, it was also said that AirPods could also be manufactured by Apple on Indian ground. It is reported that Foxconn is likely to start the production of the AirPods from 2024 December onwards.
