Service to be initiated in Delhi-NCR
Mobec Innovations, a start up electric mobility solutions provider, announced its service of offering charging facilities for electric vehicles at customers’ doorstep.
On Wednesday, 31st May, 2023, Mobec Innovations issued a statement, in which they said that the service would benefit over 2 Lakh electric vehicles’ (EV) users across Delhi-NCR. The services can be booked through the company’s app. It would be first launched for the customers of Delhi-NCR only. However, by March, 2023, the company is planning to expand its operations in Tier-I cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Jaipur etc.
The mobile charging vans, provided by Mobec Innovations are capable of achieving an optimum 80 percent level in a short period of time with the help of fast charge technology.
Apart from Mobec Innovations, Delhi transport department and Delhi Electric Vehicle (EV) cell also kicked off the process of drafting a revised ‘Delhi EV Policy 2.0′ with the consultation provided by a stakeholder. According to an official statement by Delhi EV cell, the city now has more than 4300 charging points and 256 battery swapping stations across 2500 plus locations.
Besides Mobec Innovations, New Delhi Municipal Council or NDMC is also increasing the number of EV charging stations in Lutyens’, Delhi and even provide battery swapping facilities at some of these points.
